Like most, I am a single mom, and I don't get out much. So I have been seriously considering online dating sites. I feel kind of desperate doing it, but I think a lot of people are now doing this - so there isnt a bad stigma associated with it anymore. Has anyone ever had good or bad experiences with online dating? Tell me your story!

Well, I'm not a single mom, but I am an older women who has now tried the online dating site world for a few years. I must say that at first I was very stand-offish about it all. I think I felt the same way as you, what would my friends and family think? But I must say, that in the end I have met some wonderful people, been on some wonderful dates, and had some great fun in the process! I would definitely recommend that you get out there and try these online dating sites. Most are free. What have you got to loose, right?
